Postdoctoral Research Associate in Structure Determination for Materials Discovery
Project Description:
This position forms part of an interdisciplinary team working across physical and computer science to develop new pathways to the design and discovery of inorganic materials as part of the Leverhulme Centre for Functional Materials Design. This environment will facilitate the development of new skills and the demonstration of creativity and leadership. Expertise in structure solution using powder and/or single crystal X-ray diffraction-based techniques and electron diffraction methods [MR1] is essential for the role, and candidates should make their relevant experience for materials discovery clear in their application.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
