PhD position focusing on Human Factors and User Interfaces in VR under GKS program
Description:
We are looking for highly motivated students join the Human-Centered Technology (HCT) Lab in the Department of Human-Computer Interaction at Hanyang University in South Korea. The HCT Lab focuses on Human Factors and Human-Computer Interaction research topics in different application areas. This time, we are particularly looking for students who are interested in Human Factors and User Interfaces related issues in Automated Vehicle (AV) and Virtual Reality (VR).
Required Qualification:
Essential Qualification:
- Research background, knowledge, and interests in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Human-Computer Interaction, UI/UX.
- Research experience in AV or VR fields from Human Factors and HCI perspectives.
- Degrees in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Safety Engineering, or related fields.
- Oral and written fluency in English
- Must fulfil the minimum requirements of the graduate program (webpage).
- Must fulfil the eligibility for GKS program (webpage)
Preferred Qualification:
- Strong background in statistical analysis or data analytics
- Experiences in data collection and analysis using user experiments and surveys
- Experiences in physiological data collection and analysis (e.g., eeg, emg, etc.)
- Experiences in academic publications
