Description:
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following project position under the research project led by Dr. Apurv Kumar Yadav, Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
Job Description:
- Design of GaN-based DC-DC converters.
- Development of planar magnetics and power converters.
Required Qualification:
Essential Qualification:
- Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor's degree OR a Master's degree (M.Tech/M.E./M.S. by research).
- Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics or equivalent.
- Qualified in GATE/CEED/JEST/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or Ph.D
- Candidates with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in their qualifying degree from Ministry of Education-funded Technical Institutions (formerly CFTIs) are exempted from the national-level test requirement.
Preferred Qualification:
- candidates having experience in hardware development of power converters are encouraged to apply

Contract duration:
- 2 years (The selected JRF candidate will have the opportunity to register for the Ph.D. program at IIT Roorkee as per institute norms)
Benefits:
- JRF: ₹37,000/- per month (for the first two years)
