Junior Research Fellow for Studying H2 Production from Partial Oxidations over Nanocatalysts
Description:
- The candidate shall be required to work on nanocatalyst synthesis, characterisation, and measurement of catalytic performance
- Publish high-quality journal articles and attend international conferences; Strictly follow laboratory safety practices
- Experience with catalytic measurements is highly preferred
- Working knowledge of wet synthesis techniques for nanomaterials, characterisation techniques
- Track record of publications/conference presentations; self-motivated, perseverant person with solid project management and communication skills
Required Qualification:
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate (B.E./B.Tech./equivalent) in Chemical/Materials Engineering or allied fields with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. and valid NET/GATE score
- Master’s degree (MSc/equivalent) in Science from allied branches with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. and NET/GATE qualification
Preferred Qualification:
- Graduate (M.E./M.Tech./equivalent) in Chemical/Materials Engineering or allied fields with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent C.G.P.A. Essential qualifications/experience will follow the funding agency’s norms as below:
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate I Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,DRDO, MoE,
ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.

- Remuneration: 37,000 INR per month + 11,100 INR HRA (No HRA will be paid if the campus housing is availed)
