Project Description:
We are looking for highly enthusiastic researchers interested in joining the Human Centered Technology (HCT) Lab in the Department of Human Computer Interaction at Hanyang University ERICA. The HCT Lab focuses on Human Factors, Ergonomics, and Human-Computer Interaction topics in various application domains. But at this time, we are looking for a candidate with expertise and interests in Automated Vehicles (AV). The candidate will be supported by Brain Pool program, which is a prestigious postdoc program supported by National Research Foundation of Korea.
- If some are interested, we will apply for the Brain Pool Program from the National Research Foundation of Korea (the prestigious funding program supporting all research activities, including salary, travel and living expenses, and others). Once the proposal gets accepted, you can work from 1 to 3 years depending on the research plan.
Required Qualification:
Essential Qualification:
- Ph.D. Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, and HCI fields.
- Research interests in AV and VR/AR/XR .
- Minimum Two SCI/SSCI journal or top conference paper records.
Preferred Qualification:
- Oral and written fluency in English.
- Experience in data collection (user experiment, survey, interview, etc.)
- Strong background in statistical analysis or data analytics.
- Strong background in VR/AR/XR contents development
Employment Conditions and Benefits:
Contract duration:
- The position starts from a 1-year contract, and there is a possibility to be extended depending on academic performance.
Benefits:
- The position title can be a Postdoctoral Researcher or Research Professor.
- The annual gross salary starts from KRW 60,000,000 and may increase based on work experience and qualifications.
- Travel expenses and living costs will be supported.
