- Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGn) invites applications for a Project
Associate - I position in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Applications are invited for Project Associate – I position for a Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) sponsored project at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and Earth observation.
Required Qualification:
Essential Qualification:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences /Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences /BVSc / B. Pharm /
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine, from a recognized University or equivalent.
Preferred Qualification:
- Expertise in machine learning, data processing and analysis.
- Prior experience in Python platforms such as Anaconda, and Python notebooks along with basic versioning system (Git & Github) knowledge.
- Implementation experience of at least one ML project.
- Evidence of excellent Python coding skills.
- Experience of writing research papers.
- Domain expertise in remote sensing is an added bonus.

Benefits:
- ₹37,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through:
- National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE,
or
- A selection process through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- ₹30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
