Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Field-Deployable Sensor-Harvesters for Recycling Rare Earth Elements

Project Description:

Applications are invited from motivated and qualified candidates for a postdoctoral position in Field-Deployable Sensor-Harvesters for Recycling Rare Earth Elements.

Required Qualification:

Essential Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in any area of Chemistry/Polymer Sciences with the requisite skill and knowledge as detailed below may apply.
  • Candidate should have demonstrable expertise in synthesis and development of polymer hydrogels, polymer composites, biopolymer- synthetic polymer composites,
  • Candidates should possess requisite knowledge of high-end instrumentation that is necessary for characterization of small organic molecules and polymeric materials,
  • Candidates should have expertise in development of chemical/polymeric sensors for environmentally relevant analytes including but not limited to critical minerals such as rare earth elements,
  • The experience and expertise of thecandidate in (A) – (C) should be evident from their record of publications.
  • Candidates should have strong written skills and should be adept at writing manuscripts and grant proposals.
  • Candidates should be capable of guiding research scholars at pre-doctoral level in aligned projects.

  • Consolidated monthly salary in the range of Rs. 1,00,000 /- per month.
